About STITCHES

I opened Stitches in 1995 (then called Kate’s Needlecraft) selling cross stitch and tapestry supplies. I soon realized there was a need for further craft supplies, so I soon started stocking craft paints, stencils, then quilting supplies, toymaking parts and Card making and Scrapbooking supplies.

We moved to larger premises next door in 1998 and Kate’s needlecrafts became STITCHES stitching & craft supplies. It was always my dream to have a craft shop with workshop facilities and Tea room, so in 2004 the opportunity arose to build our own premises, a couple of kilometers out of the town with a sea view..

We now run all sorts of craft workshops throughout the year, and also have a café run by Maria Constantinou, which provides light lunches of salads, sandwiches, home made cakes, and drinks.
